Once ready to ship we will require payment and once received the item/s will be shipped.
A ll our projects are hand made.
Therefore no two items will be exactly the same, we try to match the examples in the photos as close as possible.
T he wood we use is natural wood sourced from sustainable sources.
Due to using natural wood no two items will have exactly the same grain or texture
and all photos are examples of what we have made.
T he choice of wood is not limited to what we have listed in our section on wood or to the photos we have across the site.
For any choice of wood you would like used please contact us and we can try sourcing it and pricing it for you.
If you would like to supply your own wood for a chosen project please do so.

Made in
Britain

M ade in Britain,
we support local industry and try our utmost to source materials from Britain.
but due to the natural regions of various trees wood is sourced from around the world.
W e are so supportive of local industry that even our tools and equipment are British made.

Care

W e put a lot of time and care into the engineering and finishing of all our products.
We hope that this information will help you to enjoy them for many years.
A ll of our products are made by hand, using a combination of traditional and modern techniques.
E ach item is unique and no two items will have precisely the same tone or markings.
Wood grain and texture will vary as wood is a natural living product.
O ver time the wood will naturally loose some of its shine,
To restore the original shine to your item, it can be polished gently with a soft polishing cloth and waxed.
W e recommend Renaissance Wax,
which was developed by the British Museum in the 1950s
and is still used today to protect artefacts in the world’s major museums and art galleries.
I t is important to note that wax creates a protective barrier between the object and its environment,
reducing the natural antibacterial properties of the wood.
A ll our products are splash proof
but please avoid direct contact with perfume, creams and other sprays as these may cause discolouration.

That's right we are proud of our nation, keep it at home and Make It British

2.Wood that I use

The information I provide is not a teaching course by any means
but it is me just sharing the knowledge I have got from the experience I have had.
For anyone starting out in woodturning
I would highly recommend a book called 'Woodturning a foundation course by Keith Rowley'
it can be found in most tool and woodturning suppliers around the country.
For a list of suppliers see my links page.
